  • Patios, and
  • Railings

The cost depends on the size and material of your house. If you want to hire a professional paint crew and need help repainting your entire exterior, consider calling iContractor Painting for help. We will get the job done professionally.

It is not recommended to use interior paint on outdoor surfaces. Although interior and exterior paints look the same, exterior paint has properties that help it fight weather conditions. Interior paint simply doesn’t provide the right level of protection needed for outdoor surfaces.

The paint has different properties in the formula. Interior paint is made to withstand scrubbing, staining, and allow cleaning with basic household items such as clothes. Exterior paint is made to withstand fading and mildew as well as other weather elements.

This depends on the type and brand of paint you buy. Most household paints and stains are only restricted for use in temperatures of 50 fahrenheit (10 celsius) and warmer. If the surface is too cold, it can result in staining or mildew problems on your exterior. You may want to hire a professional crew for outdoor painting to get the job done properly. At iContractor Painting, we offer you a free consultation!

Early summer or early fall is typically the most ideal time to paint your house. This is because there’s minimal rain and fluctuations in temperatures from night to day. Painting during the right seasons will ensure the paint will cure and dry smoothly.

The Process ...

1. Planning and confirmation

Our first priority is to make sure we don’t totally disrupt your day. After you book your painting job, our team will set up a call before your exterior house painting project date to go over all details:

  • Confirm paint color and details,
  • Ask you to move patio furniture and potted plants, and
  • Answer questions you have about your painting project.

Here’s what we’ll do before we start painting:

  • Cover plants, trees, and decks,
  • Remove mildew and mold,
  • Fill holes or cracks in the walls,
  • Power wash surfaces in preparation for painting, and
  • Caulk and waterproof windows and doors (Upon request).

2. Colour consultation

Choosing the right colours can be one of the hardest parts of the job. You don’t have to do it alone! We’re happy to sit down and consult with you about which colors will work best for your home.

Our experts will walk you through the basics of house paint color schemes and ideas, and help you find the perfect colors for your space.

3. We're not happy unless you're happy

Nothing more important to us than getting the job done right. We’ll do a final walkthrough with you while the paint is drying to make sure no touch-ups are needed, then we’ll provide a full clean up once you sign off on the work. The next day, you’ll receive a follow-up call to ensure you’re happy with everything.

4. SIMPLE, STRAIGHTFORWARD PRICING

At iContractor Painting, you’ll receive a personalized, detailed proposal that clearly outlines our services and the total cost of your paint job. Our estimators give you an up-front, accurate price—you won’t end up with extra costs you didn’t plan for. No surprises here!
